The accommodation was 'tired'. The twin room (bunk bed + single bed) had no storage for clothes, no mirror and it was difficult to access sockets. The mattresses were plastic coated and while I understand the need for this a fabric mattress protector sheet would have made it nicer to sleep on. The bottom sheets did not fit the mattresses so could not be tucked in properly, resulting in them coming off all the time.

Would definitely go back for another holiday, Silloth is a nice quiet place and gateway to the lakes.

This review was made based on both chalets we booked as there was very little difference apart from the hottub. They really need to sort out the furniture they put in these lodges, it's a tally disgraceful

The only problem was that the floors in the chalet were not level all the way through so you keep going up and down in places in the chalet. The chalet was quite modern in inside and also have parking right next the accomodation which sometimes you dont get.

Don't go in September nothing going on, no shows unless it's a weekend, bingo at 8pm only 6 playing lol, grounds are lovely, bistro was closed the 4 days we were their not like advertised, pool was freezing cold the sea was warmer, accommodation dated but clean. If u go in peak season chances r it would be better. Hey but what do u want for a cheap holiday Would go again
