Throughly recommend these lodges, very well equipped and to a high standard. Good swimming pool on site, just a shame no sauna other than use at the Warner hotel. We couldn’t use with children. Good pub very short walk and lit path was great. Lovely play area for children and excellent bikes for use of all areas to enjoy the wonderful scenery.

Excellent chalet with hot tub and all the possible amenities in the chalet. The kitchen has all utensils including baking trays, weighing scales dishwasher and washing machine. They gave us milk, bread butter and biscuits as a welcome pack which was very nice. The chalet was clean, modern and well maintained and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely stay again

The lodges are gorgeous. Really high ceilings, log burner, nice furniture, dog friendly - one of the best lodges we’ve stayed in. Our children said wow when they walked in! Ours (number 1) was all on one level and next to the swimming pool. The pool was small but very warm and great for the children. We drove 10 minutes to Le Poulet Arms which was so cosy - log fires and candlelight- book as it was very busy and fully booked. We walked to The Windwhistle Inn in less than 5 minutes. The food there was standard pub food so OK but not much atmosphere in there. We drove to Lyme Regis in about 30 minutes and ate at the Pilot Boat Inn which was nice. Then went fossil hunting in Charmouth (beware of the clay - our children climbed up and got stuck in it!) The other day we spent around the lodges - walking, using their free bikes and playing in the park in the woods. A lovely weekend even in January thank you x

Kittwhistle lodge (9) was perfect! Not overlooked by anyone else and no buildings blocking the beautiful view. I would 100% book this particular lodge again, however I would be hesitant booking others on the site as they are alot less private and the views are blocked by lodges Infront of them. This lodge was perfectly equipt, very clean and one of the best we have stayed at. The location abit remote but perfect for a relaxing getaway!

Really like this place. My wife and I had a lovely relaxing few days with our two dogs. Nicely appointed place and quality all round. The swimming pool on site was a little cold but it was January I suppose so not as usually heated? No matter. We would definitely consider coming back.

Me and my partner visited swandown lodges for a three night break with our dog, on arrival we were warmly welcomed and given all the details about our stay. The lodge we stayed was stunning and was 100% up to a 5* standard, it has all of the facilities we needed and more. The views were absolutely breathtaking with fields after fields for us all to explore, we enjoyed our bike rides and the lovely little play area in the woods. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning without any doubt.
