I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at spindlewood lodges. The lodges are set in a peaceful rural location whilst still being very easy to get to the many places to visit locally. Wookey hope, cheddar gorge, Glastonbury tor and Wells to name a few. There is plenty of room for children to play safely and make friends with the chickens! The lodges are clean, spacious, quiet and well equipped. My son was happy that WiFi is now available too! The hosts are very helpful and friendly but not at all intrusive. This was our second stay and we will be back!

We had a lovely holiday. We were very lucky with the weather to start with but the bungalow and garden were lovely. Hope Cove is a very pretty little place the only downside was the fact that we were not allowed to take the dog on the beach, however only a mile or so along the the road was a National Trust beach which was good for children and dogs. We would recommend the house for a lovely holiday.

This is our 8th or 9th stay and everything was perfect. The owners truly think of you and your stay. The garden was immaculate and the bungalow was clean to perfection. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. There is spare bedding spare light bulbs and the list goes on. Toys for children ,beach stuff, garden chairs. And at last they have bought a bran new big tv with all the extras!!! A big 10 out of 10.

The holiday lodge was bigger than expected and very clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and there's loads of space between the lodges, and a massive field for the kids to play in. We loved the free range chickens who dropped by every day. Very close to Glastonbury and Wells and lots of nearby attractions.

Gorgeous location. Five minutes walk to the coastal path and a couple of fantastic little beaches, which are especially good for children. Hope Cove is a pretty village and good base for the surrounding area. The house is fabulous. So generously equipped, and extremely comfortable.

Stayed at Spindrift over Christmas and had a thoroughly relaxing time. The property is extremely well equiped we had everything we could possibly need down to cling film and bacofoil! The appliances were all simple to use and understand, and the conservatory was a favourite place for our dog. We were fortunate to have good weather during our stay so were still able to take advantage of the decking and patio furniture, the excellent South West coastal path for walks , just minutes away from the front door, and the local beaches, which was perfect as dogs are welcome on the beaches year round.

Unfortunately we wasted over an hour trying to find the property. It isn't signposted and had to rely on two distant neighbours to give us some idea of where it was. It was also not a very good entrance to the field and certainly needs to be sorted. The Lodge was very comfortable but we hadn't realised we had to pay extra for the eletricity to cook and watch television. It is in a very lovely location and must be ideal for families with children who would love the freedom to play outside.

Letter of complaint being prepared and sent. Some issues already raised on our arrival at Spindrift and have been discussed with Blue Chip and the owner.
