They are advertised as log cabins but they are more of a chalet with hot tub they do require some up dating

Lovely little holiday village which will be great in the summer months. Our private hottub was perfect... however our chalet could do with updating as furniture and furnishings were slightly dated. The pub and bistro were nice and pool area was clean, however no slides just a pool. View of the sea is beautiful but not alot nearby, to visit anywhere your talking about a 40min plus, drive each time.

We arrived at Solway Holiday Village to be met by the most unpleasant receptionist I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, she was rude, grumpy and certainly didn't . The highlight of the visit was the loveSolway Holiday Village had not informed me prior to arrival that there was no entertainment on, or that there was a restricted menu selection. I appreciate we arrived out of season but would have liked to have been informed. We stayed in a Lodge, it was OK, decor and furniture was tired, feature wallpaper was curling off the wall, framed artwork had no glass in them - we were pleased to only be staying 2 nights.ly lady who was working on the bar/bar food - she was friendly, helpful and chatty. It's a shame the front of house staff for check in didn't follow her lead. I doubt we will be back.

I wouldn't recommend this holiday. I was really disappointed when we arrived. Everything just looked like it needed updating, including the facilities and was not good value for money. On the first night we ordered food as we arrived late. We got hotdogs as that's all they offer off-season in their pub. The hotdogs were from a tin, with plastic cheese on and a tiny bun. We actually laughed and didn't eat them !!!

We stayed as a group of adults and children over new year. Everything was spotless and clean in the accomodations. Easy check in. Great food in the restaurants at cheap prices compared to most other holiday parks. Parks, football pitchs, swimming, arcade, bouncy castle, farm, golf etc for the kids was great! Only negative was the queue for the bar at the evening entertainment. Definitely more staff needed for a couple of hours. We were in the queue for over 20mins every time we wanted a drink. Other than that the site was brill. Staff lovely. Beaches are outstanding. Would definitely come again!

We have been many times in the past and always enjoyed it,but wasnt happy with the new year booking, accommodation in the lodges was poor ,needs updating and too expensive and entertainment was poor needed a live band for new years eve at least also we ordered the platters of food for new year paid £65 should have been enough for 10 was hardly enough for 5 people was £5 per head all I got was 2 squares of french stick and a thin slices of pie and a shortbread everyone was let down by the standard then about 15 mins after lastorders the fire alarms were set offjust to get us all out so all in all wouldn't go or recommend new year breaks at solway

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others who are looking for a family holiday with plenty of activities to suit everyone. We would definitely stay here again. The staff are great, really good customer service. The kids club was fantastic!
