Gorgeous lodge, clean and nicely decorated. Tv didn’t work well and hot tub dials tricky to work out. Also no instructions on how to use the washing machine/tumble dryer and door for stuck closed.

Lodges were amazingly modern and very comfortable. Great place to stay for a long weekend to get away from the strains of daily life!

We had a fantastic holiday, it wasnt cheap but it was thoroughly enjoyable. It was a great location and we went off exploring every day. There were some beautiful local pubs we went to and enjoyed the meals and beer gardens; Particularly the the Tollgate. I would definitely revisit. I have rated the helpfulness of staff very low, only due to the fact that we didnt see anyone at all. The keys were waiting for us in the lodge, I did try and phone the contact number prior to this and left a message but didnt get a callback. However there were no issues at all.

Very quiet and extremely peaceful. Great for walking the dogs around. No additional facilities (restaurant, bar or shop) on site but there aren't enough lodges to warrant it (which is not a negative, as that's what makes it so idyllic). You're not far from things here anyway, as Bury St Edmund's is reachable in around 10 min in the car, so it really is a lovely place to stay for a relaxing weekend away and we would definitely recommend it.

Nice lodge and good size, park is close to a water treatment area which can sometimes smell depending on wind direction. Site itself has no signs to show Aspen Country Park which cost us 30min driving around looking for the park! simple solution would be to put a temp sign up for people visiting but when we met with Owner we got all the stories of what she could not do.. The park has signs on gate A4 size showing Fornham Lodges and inside vans cleaning show Counrty Park lodges so not sure what is actually going on with the name of the park?? so not a good start to a quite break.. The park itself and lodges are a good size with space to feel free and relax once you get in. There is also a code for the gate which we found out when we got to the park with lots of names {just not the one we was looking for}! they should give you this when they call you to confirm check in time but on our occasion they did not so we were on the phone again!! Overall a nice lodge which just needs some smart people who know how to look after customers with basic park needs {a Park sign and gate pass code - number up front would be great and this would stop the all the excuses you get from the Owners}.. Park is nice if you want a peaceful break with no wifi.

It looks very nice when you first step in but we soon noticed that the lodge hadn't been cleaned properly. Urine splashes on toilet walls, the sofas hadn't been moved and swept so dust, dog toys and mess underneath. Also piles of brown dirt like mud/coffee had been swept under the dining table and left. The hot tub needed descaling it was flaky and scaly. The shower attachment on the bath leaked. The master bedroom smelt of mould from continuous dampness that didn't vent away properly. However after all the negative comments, the location was lovely, very close to city centre but you feel in the middle of nowhere. It was a nice lodge apart from the mentioned issues. No signage for the park at all. No one greeted us but we found a shabby old welcome pack with a wallet of leaflets and a few contact numbers and a hot tub note stuffed in a kitchen cupboard. We weren't told the entry was by keypad so had to call a random number by where we hoped was the entrance. No WiFi - doesn't mention that on the website or in the shabby welcome bundle. Only 6 place settings provided which is not fun with 6 people staying so no spares. No batteries in the remotes so we had to buy new ones. The xbox had no games.the master bed springs were broken so you literally rolled on the floor! It's a shame. We had a nice time but won't be returning.

Despite having a week of rain, we had a lovely time. The cabin itself was very clean and spacious. The grounds of the park are lovely we spent so much time walking around in our wellies and raincoats. Our 2 fur babies loved it. The hot tub was checked daily and even in the rain we made use of it. We will certainly go back. Upon arrival we were greeted by the grounds men, who were really nice and helpful. Sandra was equally very nice, and helpful.

You were very careless in not giving us the electric entrance gates code, and it was extremely lucky that we manage to get in. You can not afford to get this wrong
