Stayed at Sandford for Christmas from the 23rd December to the 27th December. Stayed in a lovely caravan. Had Christmas dinner in the restaurant which was wonderful. The entertainment was great fun for all ages. Would definitely return and for a longer period next time.

We booked this weekend away with friends as a last minute (cheap) break. Park was kept in good condition. I would say it's a little dated however kept clean and tidy. Swimming pool was good but changing facilities and showers limited.

Pretty good value holiday. Crazy golf needs attention as it is dilapidated and let's down the site which is otherwise clean and tidy. Good location and would return .

Lovely holiday but noticeably under staffed. Saw one staff member actually cry in the resteraunt after receiving many complaints (not directly her fault). Chip shop only open one night and it was awful. We ended up throwing it away. Next night in the resteraunt our food came out cold and not what we asked for, waitress checked and said it was because they were out of stock, although no-one mentioned this before. Reception forgot to replace a filthy bed pillow and closed so security had to do it for them. The caravan was lovely and I'd go again if it weren't for the food and staffing situation.

Shame there was no hallowe'en decorations or dressing up for the midweek half term holiday which normally has been in past

Booked this as a value for money weekend get away that had things to do if it was wet but also places to visit if it was nice. Additionally we had to be able to take the dog with us. Facilities on the camp are very good for both children and pets. The caravan itself was basic but did the job for what we wanted. The seating around the table wasn't the most comfortable or practical. We ate in the restaurant for one evening and have to give it a mixed review. For a Sunday it was exceptionally busy and there didn't seem to be enough staff on duty. Those that were on were running around like headless chickens and doing a sterling job. Unfortunately due to a dietary requirement we had to wait for a meal to be cooked, and after 30 mins went up to ask where it was, to be told it had come out earlier and just given to someone at the counter who fancied it - no one came to tell us it was ready like they said they would. To their credit, they rectified the problem within 15 mins, and gave us a round of drinks for the wait. The food itself was hearty and delicious, so can certainly recommend the food. The park is also plenty big enough to have a dog or two; they even have an area for walking your dog. Additionally dogs are allowed in a particular area of the restaurant/bar area, so you can take your pet in there whilst you eat, or grab a coffee. Overall the visit did what we wanted and we were very lucky with the gorgeous weather for the time of the year. Whilst it was ideal for a weekend, would have to explore it a bit more to decide if we could spend 7 days there.

The caravan was great but the facilities felt dated and poorly laid out. Could do with a good rethink and revamp

Holiday was lovely but caravan had a water leak so it smelled of damp not nice. Ordered a pizza and the didn’t realise my order so wait over an hour a staff member walking passed me and told me to smile I was on holiday while I was waiting for pizza so I was not impressed with that. But spending time with my daughter swimming and arcade was great .

Fab holiday, we upgraded our Holton caravan as it was awful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Fab place with so much to do.

Lovely site. All very clean, caravan had everything I needed. Staff were all warm and friendly. I had a nasty fall on my first day and returned to the site bruised and bleeding the young lady on reception, I think abi, sat with me and was so lovely. The first aider, I think Ollie, was proffesional and kind. All the staff for the rest of my stay showed concern and kindness, it made a huge difference because I was holidaying alone. I can only praise the whole thing and would love to return.

The site is ideally located for visiting Poole, Studland and the numerous attractions in the Purbeck area. There is a train station only 15 to 20 mins walk away and buses also stop right outside the site entrance.
