A fantastic choice of caravans, lodges and a house.

My fiancée, 2 year old daughter and myself had a wonderful time at Sandford. The caravan was beautifully styled and clean. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and full of energy. Plenty of activities for the children. The early morning swim was abit too early for us, so we had to go later in the afternoon. The arcade seemed grubby and outdated. The entertainment was spot on. Lots of energy and passion from the staff no matter how big or small the group was. The pantomime on the last night was hilarious.

Both shower cubicles had restricted space and shower head and hose difficult to operate. TV reception very poor even after coax cable replaced. Could only view BBC1 and 2 and the other channels on free view kept breaking down. The accomodation was more like a 14ft wide caravan and not a lodge as expected.

Staying as a couple with no children there is not a lot to do, you need to go somewhere by car or the bus this only runs every hour.the caravan was good with central heating needed as it was cold. No wi fit in the van only available in the reception area. But if you have children with you the facility’s looked good.

Pool too small for number of guests. Queuing outside in the rain for a 1 hour slot in the pool. Restaurant couldn't cope under pressure. Lots out of stock. Big ant problem in caravan, had to contact facilities twice, second time didn't turn up!

Lovely long weekend break. Great caravan. Not enough chairs to sit outside with for all of us. Food nice ,drinks priced well. Didn't bother with the entertainment because it didn't float our boat.. Timmy Mallett !!! Nuff said

Site was very good, but accommodation was poor, living area was reasonable but sleeping, toilet and shower facilities were very tight. No room to swing a mouse let alone a cat!!!

We have stayed there before in alovely caravan, in a beautiful setting and area. However this time the caravan was dirty! cobwebs hanging down in the kitchen area, mould i nthe bathroom, the bedroom smelt mouldy. We went to get into bed the sheets looked like they had not been changed, stains and soiled sheets, it was disgusting. when we pulled off the sheets we found an old stripey mattress which had not been hoover either bits of debris on it.We went to reception to complain and had to wait three hours for a new set of sheets to be delivered! There wasa lack of cooking utensils such as spatchler for frying. It was very disappointing not to the usual high standards.

Only had three nights at Sanford. When we arrived our accommodation had a stain on the carpet and didn’t smell very fresh but this was soon dealt with by friendly staff. The grandchildren loved the sight. The swimming pool was a hit although I would imagine very crowded in peak season. Overall we had a great weekend.

My own fault for not researching properly, it was to far from the beach for me. The park was extremely dog friendly, they were in the crazy golf, the kids park, the eating area, so if you take a dog you'll be fine, if you are not keen on dogs then find another park. The staff were rushed off their feet bless them, but it was Easter, the weather was amazing and the park was full.
