Prestige 3 (Decking)

Church Farm

Pagham, Nr Chichester, West Sussex, Sussex, South of England

Church Farm Holiday Village is a great place for a lazy summer beach holiday. It’s just down the road from Bognor Regis, officially the sunniest place in England (apparently it averages nearly 2,000 hours of sun each year!).

There was lots of dust in the accommodation and when I brushed carpets it was evident that these had not been vacuumed in sometime. I chose pet free accommodation but there appeared a dogish smell in the van and hairs where evident when I swept the floor. The cooker had crumbs on the oven floor and a grease filled pan left in the grill. The bedding appeared clean and the size and provision of facilities in the van was fine. There seemed lots of on site facilities but we did not use any of them, through our choice. The site has a access to a good bus service. The site was convenient for catching up with family.

When I booked I was told that there was not much availability. And looked on your site there was limited choice of caravans. On arriving at site was told I could check in at 1/2 pm if I upgraded, ? Then not have to wait till 4 pm. I said on line there was no prestigious caravan available, Then I was told if I did not upgrade they could not guarantee heating in the caravan, I was shocked truly , I had an elderly aunt with me who I had taken on holiday because she had heart surgery 8 weeks beforehand. Also said there may not be a good TV in the lounge and it's very small TV. My aunt has not got good eye sight and she likes her TV. I just do not think your sales tactics are very nice or good at all. On line or in your reception

Nice and peaceful good surrounding relaxing only downside was adult evening entertainment was to late at nine or half nine pm as we don't like bingo or gameshows that take up to much of early evening entertainment.

We would highly recommend church Farm, everything was amazing, there are only afew points that I would comment on, The oven was really loud to open and close, you had to really bang it shut and with a toddler sleeping it was awkward to cook. The garden maintenance was everyday so it wasnt very relaxing during the afternoon when in the back ground there was the constant noise of the grass cutter, strimmer etc. The bar staff weren't aware what channel were available to customers in the Mash and Barrel. Apart from those few things everything else was perfect, we love it and would definitely book again, very happy customers The garden maintenance

Book in time was 3pm, very strict about not booking in before this. At 3pm huge queue in hot not covered from sun -allocated caravan which was supposed to be Newer deluxe (very basic and cleaning crew had not cleaned or made beds), informed by very nice staff lots of sickness. Took another hour and half before we could get into caravan. Items missing (biggest issue mattress for pull out bed), staff once again very helpful. However this was very stressful and not the start to a relaxing weekend we had hoped for.
