We didn’t pay a lot to go away for the weekend but boy was we disappointed. The caravans are all hemmed in and nothing like any park we have been to before (and we have travelled!). No parking so was difficult to get your belongings into the caravan. The caravan was clean and tidy which was a massive bonus! Facilities were poor - shop was none existent and expensive. Went to sit down in the restaurant Saturday at 6pm and was told they were closing the kitchen and to order a take away! Being 3 hours away from home we didn’t exactly know of any local firms and was told to go on Google! Yeah cheers for that mate! We came back 2 hours later to let the children play in the arcade and the restaurant was serving food again! The place just needs completing modernising and the staff need some training on how to be more accommodating!! I can’t say we will be back.

Clean and warm caravan. Site was a bit cramped and the bins were all overflowing but apart from that all was good!

We were extremely disappointed. The caravan wasn't clean. The outdoor play area was very small and didn't cater for all ages. The arrangement for the swimming pool was poor, we arrived at twenty to two for the two oclock swimming and there were no bands left so had to wait for another hour just for the three o'clock swim and then was only allowed forty five minutes. There was a very small shop behind the reception but didn't even sell papers. You had to either walk to the nearest caravan park or walk up to the town just to but a paper. The entertainment activities during the day were extremely rushed, making plans to the next slotsrather than focusing and the activitiy at that time. We booked Regent Bay because it appeared to have lots of facilities but didn't. It was very confusing, definitely not what was expected. Photographs were shown of an indoor play area but when asked it was what a customer had entered on to the link that stated Regent Bay. On a very plus side the marjority of the staff (except some of the entertainment staff) were very pleasant and helpful which is such a shame for the site, wish the majority of those staff could be at all caravan parks. Overall very dissapointed one week family holiday for seven with various ages.

Holiday park was a little tired. In need of investment. Pool was too busy which didn’t make it enjoyable.

Lovely well kept site both outside and inside. I took my 3 grandchildren aged 7, 12 and 14 and we stayed in a spotlessly clean caravan. The staff were always very polite and helpful. On returning home I realised a bag of our dirty clothes had been put into the bin by mistake. I rang the site, someone went and rooted through the bins and found them. Fantastic customer service and once again thank you. Our return next year has already been booked.

Not much at all to do in the park itself. Been twice and both times had to move caravan as they are filthy. Most of the caravans are of poor standard and definitely lack cleanliness. Will not return

The caravan given to us smelt musty and worn down. We paid more for this weekend than at the Easter bank holiday and got a poorer product. Most staff were excellent and truly felt sorry for the man on the bar one night, when asking for help from Reece (who was in the back) he was greeted with a ride response

We would never stay here again. The staff were more embarrassed than we were about the place, all the staff went out of there way to be helpful. The shop is a joke, pool tiny, with small changing facilities. The pay for activity was a joke . Paid for kayaking and yes got a kayak and helmet, however no instructions and with 2 people in the activity there was no room to do anything. The caravan was disgusting and dangerous,I wouldn't let a dog stay in it, and talking to others on the site many of the caravans were similar. Had it not been for Molly finding us an alternative we would not have stayed.

I arrived at my caravan at 19.30 , it was dark and was greeted with a big muddy puddle at the bottom of the stairs, first pair of shoes ruined, I reported this to staff immediately. When I arrived from a day out the following day I was provided with a plastic step over the mud, stood on it. Slipped and it broke. I reported this every day but nothing was done in the 5 days I was there, even though I was assured someone would fix it.

Wasnt sure what to expect after reading some reviews but overall was pleasantly surprised by the park. Although extremely quiet the duration we were there, it worked in our favour with the pool and amusements etc. Yes true there are lots of speed bumps which is fair enough for safety, if you were closer to the main building you would have less bumps to go over. I found the cleanliness pretty good from the lodge/caravan to the main building. Mens toilets in the bar wasnt pleasant everytime the door opened . Never ate so cant comment on the food but other peoples meals looked decent. Lodge should have had TV in all rooms but 2nd bedroom didn't but the lodge itself had a dishwasher and washing machine which wasn't advertised, never discussed this with the staff as we were only there 4 nights but should be better advertised as some people would appreciate knowing this. Not alot on the site but sadly not helped by the weather. Swimming is a first come first served basis with a 45 minute time slot. Again this was ok for us as park was quiet.
