Although I have no complaints about the site as we have used it many times, on arrival this time only 45 mins before the stated 4pm arrival, our key wasn’t ready and as we had a dog there was no where to wait apart from outside in the cold & the smoking area !!! Staff made no effort to establish when key might be ready and even said if we weren’t happy to contact yourselves and ask to be relocated, I found this extremely rude and made us feel that cause we hadn’t book direct with themselves it wasn’t their problem. The caravan was very basic, no toaster and curtains in front of van didn’t meet when closing. The reason we booked a site for this holiday was for some evening entertainment for the children & this met our expectations.

Most enjoyable few days, same as the numerous times we've stayed at Newlands Park. Spacious and comfortable accommodation for the two of us, with convenient car parking and pleasant surroundings. Looking forward to our next stay.

Van was nice and clean would have been nice if we had a welcome pack with tea and coffee was that is what's needed after a long trip and not having to get an over priced coffee from the bar. Shame about the playground and nothing much for the children to do out of Season as we have been to other places out of season that does and not happy about paying to use an indoor swimming pool which again we have never had to do before

The accommodation that I have stayed in this year, a lodge, apartment & ensuite hotel rooms have all been spotless. Always clean & looks freshly decorated. I have breakfast & dinner in the bar. Where the food is fantastic, great value & the staff are always happy & friendly but always professional. The reception staff have always been great with bookings & any queries I have.

I am a regular visitor and have always found Newlands to be very good for location and service. Improvements are made each year.

The area was great, loved Lyme itself. The park was great for young kids. They are definitely not joking when they say it is a site on a steel hill. The apartment was well equipped, however the huge gaps between the doors and walls, I wouldn't want to stay over winter.
