we stayed in a lodge the fascilities in there were excellent the view from the patio doors was picturesque .the lodge was clean . if we needed a repair it was done immediately .our only complaint is we emailed to ask what entertainment was on and had an automatic reply but not a proper one so we didn't find out the showbar was closed until a couple of days after we got there

I have taken my grandchildren there twice over the last 2 years and had brilliant experience both times. And we are looking forward to going next year.

The signs said welcome to the Meadows luxury developement, i didnt see anythink luxury about it,the caravan was old and tired, with dampness showing and paper peeling from the walls, all crockery and surfaces needed cleaning before use, and the lighting was awfull, unable to read anything at night, just not bright enough.

Got a last minute deal so can't complain about cost. Staff brilliant and friendly. Park much bigger than expected. Grounds are very well maintained. Only negative was the changing rooms of swimming pool. Toilet seat was broken, just left at the side of toilet all week - an easily remedied problem the cleaners would have been aware of and potentially could cause an accident. Entertainment was great and staff superb. Location on dual carriageway on outskirts of Skegness but easily accessible. Boathouse restaurant was reasonable and food good quality.

Great park, lovely layout with the caravans bordering various duck ponds.. good entertainment in the show lounge and the boathouse pub was nice.

The park was lovely, but the caravan was tired, mouldy, with a broken bed, and insufficient information about how to turn on the heating. The windows were wet and condensation meant the furniture and bedding was wet. I'd definitely recommend the location, but the accommodation needs to be improved, which was a shame because we'd paid extra for CH and double glazing. The staff were friendly but unapologetic about issues we had.

Lodge and park surroundings brilliant, but it stated pet friendly, it wasn’t, we were told to tie up our dog outside if we wanted to eat indoors at the Boathouse. Obviously we refused, ate outside in the cold, not even any shelter available! While we sat eating our dinner in the cold a rat ran out from under the building into the bushes. Yes, we reported it to the staff and they took photos of the hole.

when we arrived the caravan looked lovely, however when entered it was incredibly dirty, the cleaners had swept the floor and pushed all the rubbish under the oven, dog hairs were scattered across the floor in the living area as well as being a strong smell of urine. The freezer, walls and shower also maintained a substantial amount of mould which was unacceptable. The linen on a couple of the beds had horrid staining which resulted in us buying clean linen and throughing the dirty linen away. Lastly when we approached the security regarding some stolen property out of the changing rooms in tj swimming pool, they were rude and abnoxious towards us, failing to give us any futher procedure into finding the property. Overall the park is wonderful however the cleanliness was poor as well as the securities attitude.

We have been too Southview loads of times. The only thing was we only wanted to stay the 2 nights but you have to book 3. Which is not very good , I have said this before in reviews but it is still the same The caravan was ok but not the one we booked , also the beds was very uncomfortable , think they need new mattresses , and the caravan needs some attention all over , eg curtains, cutlery, etc .

Caravan was dirty, food in the plug hole of the kitchen sink, glasses and plates were greasy. Toilet had dirty marks in it, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. No toilet paper in van when we got there, cigarettes ends all round the door. Pretty poor cleaning standards. Site was lovely, staff were great!!!

This is the second holiday with you this year, we came in June and it was so very disappointing. The french doors did not open very well, the toilet seat was very loose and kept sliding, the bath panel was off, the chopping block was horrible unable to use for health and safety reasons and the same applied to the saucepans. The bed was so low I felt I was sleeping on the floor. Reception was also unable to help me with a chair I needed. I was so stressed out I came home with the shingles. I believed this to be a one off so decided to try again.
