New Romney, Kent, South of England
Immerse yourself in the great outdoors at Romney Sands. Close to one of Kent’s best beaches, right between Greatstone Dunes and RSPB Dungeness Nature Reserve, and near to the wildlife-filled Romney Marshes, this natural hide away offers endless adventures.
There’s loads to do on park, from tennis to crazy golf. Plus, there’s also an adventure playground to keep the kids happy, and of course, two indoor swimming pools. There’s even a fishing lake so you can grab the catch of the day. In the evening you can enjoy a tasty meal in The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant and enjoy an array of amazing shows for the whole family.
The park is moments away from the soft, golden shores, and wildlife-rich dunes of Greatstone Beach – making it ideal for classic seaside activities, water sports or a little uninterrupted relaxation. Head further along the coast and you’ll discover attractions like Camber Sands, a dreamy 7-mile long beach and quaint medieval Rye.

Our caravan was lovely but beds weren’t made up on arrival as we were informed they would be. Also there was a festival in the field behind our caravan (with 2 young children) we hardly got any sleep. I feel we should have been informed. We ate in the club house the first night and the food was very poor.

We had a great time because the two young children who came with us were so well entertained by the team who ran the activities in the morning and early evening. Ant, Jen and Jodi were all amazing and we can't thank them enough for their commitment, sense of humour and patience. They all deserve an award! The staff in reception were also great, so helpful and efficient especially Caprice who helped us with our booking for next year.

Caravan ok, was clean but needed nets really for privacy . The location was not picturesque - but plenty To do around the area.

Quiet camp reception staff and maintenance staff helpful staff in bar and restaurant very immature and seemed to treat the place like their own personal youth club. Caravan was clean but some of the equipment ie the cooker needed upgrading

Had a wonderful family weekend break here. Our party was 3 generations. Fantastic location, right on the beach at Romney Sands. Our caravan was incredible with all the mod cons you could ask for. We will definitely be back. Thank you everyone at the park for making our weekend unforgettable

the whole camp needs a total remake shabby old and too small web site has it as a family fun but theirs nothing to do on site a tennis court and a childs small play park plus a fishing lake that's it there was no entertainment for adults and the shops and restaurant was open at 9 am so would i recommend this site no.

We booked the caravan for a midweek break. The caravan was clean and well equipped. Decking would have been nice to have. We were pleased to have central heating as the weather had chilled off a bit. The caravans were very close together and I would not choose to stay during high season as noise travelled very clearly between them and there was not enough room to sit outside between them either. However, it suited us for this visit.

Lovely peaceful holiday

Lovely caravan, area and location great. Entertainment not as good as when I was a child at new beach. Its very adult led and less and children having fun. Lots of young kids and needs to be catered differently. Sit run down in places. Arcades not great, all about tickets. Overall would stay again.

everything was very good - the only down side was that the caravan was full of cobwebs on the outside and there were some inside and approximately 15 spiders inside the caravan. The only other down side was that we wanted take away from the restaurant and were told it had to be certain foods, so we ordered these and then were told NO take aways were available as they had no boxes.

Stayed in the Freshwater Lodge. Really lovely, clean and spacious. Friendly welcome on check in. Staff on the site were great. Our end of the site by the lake was great however there are 2 storey apartment blocks look unkempt and in need of a refit or replacement. You cannot take your dog into the buildings on site and there's no dog walking area as such on site. Romney Railway was a fantastic day out for us. Dymchurch has a great beach.

Lovely little camp. Very helpful & friendly staff. Clean park with good facilities for families to use if required. Been twice & already booked again for next year. Beach is just across the road & a lake on site for fishing
