There are 6 of us, all friends who have been having a ‘hot tub’ weekend for the past 7 years. The lodge was spotless and had virtually everything we wanted. The owners made us feel very welcome and checked in on us a couple of times to make sure we had everything we wanted. A screw fell out of the stool and they fixed it right away and re filled the fire lighter too. The log burner was lovely and the wood is provided which is awesome. We did enjoy the fire especially in the mornings as the heating came on later in the day. The site is on a farm with 2 other lodges, it’s VERY peaceful, there’s NOTHING else around which we loved. The WiFi worked well for all 6 of us all weekend. The welcome pack was well recieved, milk, biscuits, a couple of toilet rolls & coffee tabs. The only negatives we have is that there was only one bathroom/toilet between 6 of us, there’s not enough little tables by the sofas to put glasses and the sofas didn’t seat all 6 of us at the same time. The hot tub could benefit from some lights for the evenings. Having said all that, we would return. Thanks for having us :-)

The accommodation was perfect. Me and my family don’t have one negative comment about it. Every thing was there that we could of needed and it was very cosy and comfortable. We didn’t want to leave. Great location and the dog enjoyed the countryside.

I loved this cottage! Every detail was thought of from the logs for the fire, milk in the fridge to mince pies on arrival. The interior of the cottage is very pretty and of high quality. I couldn't fault anything, it was really good value for money!

We would have liked to have controlled the heating.

Lovely and quiet. Very clean. No interruption with onsite WiFi. Beds slightly hard, could do with a mattress topper.

We had a couple of problems. No wine glasses and barbecue had cigarette buts in. Reported to owners and were quickly remedied. Otherwise lodge was well equipped ( especially the amount of wood supplied for barbecue and wood burner), clean and beautifully decorated incorporating many hares. Our lodge was called Hare lodge. Would recommend

This lodge is 1 of only 3 which is nice but I am afraid to say not what myself and my family expected after reading reviews. When we arrived we were told we are in the country now and they don’t have receptions as well as not all the bedding was made up yet. This wasn’t a problem but there were yellow stains on some towels and sheets and they had forgotten 1 pillow in the twin room. The kitchen was small and the whole place was lacking in a homely feel. The place wasn’t to clean especially the floors it had just been swept round. Broken plastic cups in the cupboard and the water dispenser on the fridge was broken. There was a coffee machine but there was only 1 capsule of expresso and no instructions. Only 1 door would open to the double doors. Dogs must be kept on leads but their dog was off lead unattended which is fine but a young couple was there and on the little land they played football. There is no nice scenery or views or anywhere to explore or walk. The hot tub only had 1 good jet. The worse thing was the beds omg I cannot stress enough how uncomfortable they are the large beds are so hard I was on the sofa but the end of the week which I had to fight for with my son. On a whole it was mediocre at best and I will not be going back.

Main issue was lack of kitchen equipment but items were replaced when we asked. Also had to ask for the floors to be cleaned properly which was done.
