This lodge is ideal if you want to get away from it all as the internet and mobile phone connection is not very good. The lodge was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. It was especially nice that logs and kindling were provided in abundance. As it is on a working farm it is in the middle of nowhere and down a twisty 2 mile road. We took everything we needed for our stay so this didnt bother us at all. I forgot milk and the owner very kindly gave us enough to last us for a day or two. Once you drive down the two mile farm road you come out onto the main road and Highbridge, Burnham On Sea and Weston Super Mare are all within easy reach.

Lovely peaceful location. Beautiful lodge clean and tidy. Lovely logburner, with plenty of kindling and logs supplied. Great hot tub. Only thing would be nice if it had a second bathroom to cater for six people.

This is the second time we have been here. The owners are so lovely and attentive. The place is so quiet and homely. My one complaint would be the beds and sofa. I couldn’t sleep on the bed. I felt every single spring that it hurt to sit or lay on. I had to use the duvet to sleep on top of then use a blanket over me it was that bad. Also the sofa was broken. Sitting in it you literally fell right through to the springs inside. I sadly wouldn’t go back until the bed situation is sorted as it really did ruin the holiday a bit as I got no sleep whatsoever.

A lovely location, everything we could have wanted but very difficult to find when you don't have sat nav. The welcome pack needs to be a little more in-depth as there was no internet connection it was very hard to plan a day out not knowing the area as we were first time visitors. Maybe an OS map might be helpful if one was left in the lodge.

Lovely lodge, Took some blankets and throws for the chilly evenings which warmed the place up. Kitchen facilities good. Hot tub very warm and lovely. The bath needs viakal and a cloth to remove limescale from the edge and paint on the inside door where water has caused water damage. The double bedroom needs a new bed base as impossible to sleep as creaks so much. All mattresses on the other beds were comfortable. There is a hairdryer in the king size room in the wardrobe. WiFi doesn’t work at all, shows as ‘connected’ on your device but owner admitted it doesn’t work well. We are both medical professionals on our first week away without our teenagers so WiFi was essential as minimal mobile signal. (We are on Vodafone). Lovely stay, would have liked hot tub (which was fabulous) a little more personal as while We were in it dogs, kids on bikes etc were whizzing around us!

The lodge was very spacious and very clean. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely quiet site and very private, the hot tub was a bonus and very refreshing after a long day out exploring. The location was ideal for visiting near by attractions. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

Thank you to the hosts! We had a fabulous girls weekend in Somerset! The weather was amazing, very comfortable lodge, great to have the hot tub of which we made lots of use! We even got to watch the baby calf that was born while we were there, running around in the field. Would defiantly return and recommend to others!

Lovely lodge with great facilities, great location and friendly staff. Only small issue was the sand stone driveway which got dragged into the lodge on the bottom of shoes and needed sweeping up so as not to scratch the laminate.
