Perfect romantic get away! Don't think I would take my children but will certainly return to this lodge with my husband.

Lovely little touches which added to the experience. Fresh bread, milk, butter, jam and biscuits waiting for us

Lodge was great but well used. Previous people had left crisp packets under twin bed right at the top end so I’m not surprised this wasn’t picked up by cleaners.

Lovely lodge, very well equipped and spacious. Only scored slightly lower on cleanliness as there were a few bits that weren’t as clean as we would have liked but welet management know and I really felt it was a one-off.

Fantastic lodge in a beautiful location. The underfloor heating was great, nice big spacious rooms and there was everything you could need in the kitchen - just missing kitchen roll and dishwasher tablets. The hot tub was superb, lovely and warm from the first use, with views over the gardens and countryside. The staff at checkin/out were great, nice and friendly. The selection of dvds and games was nice and the use of a pool too - what more could you want! The local pub is recommended, the new owners took over when we were there and we couldn't fault the food or prices. Would be more than happy to return to Swandown lodges, 10/10.

Best lodge we have ever stayed in, had everything we needed and more, like the welcome pack of bread butter jam and milk, the view from the lodge was lovely, if I had to choose one word to describe the lodge and location it would be 'perfect, will deffinately be going back

Kittwhistle Lodge was very clean throughout, light and airy and in very good condition. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The ground of the Cricket St Thomas estate are amazing and the Country House is very grand. We enjoyed using the hot tub every day, which was a great way to relax and unwind after busy days exploring. The Lodge was not overlooked by any other Lodge, so was very nice and private. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and wouldn’t hesitate to return next year, as there are still many places that we didn’t get chance to see.
