Kingfisher 21 was a great lodge. Fully fitted and very well equipped, a nice home from home including the big screen TV. Good views as the lodges are not looking into each other and very spacious (although there were only two of us). I see it sleeps 6 but I think it would be a tight squeeze. Thank you for the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. Just enough to tie you over until you can shop and received a courtesy call on our return home – first time ever! Negatives:- Great FULL-SIZED family fridge but the freezer (lower section) cannot be used as the door catches on the wall skirting and cannot open properly without damaging the door. Consequently, the drawers cannot be opened. The bifold shower screen needs replacing with a longer one as it’s far too short for the high-pressure shower which splashes water onto the floor leaving a big mess. The direction of spray also cannot be adjusted so it sprays straight forward. If you like a soft pillow – take your own! The park was very quiet (out of season), so we were able to park on the road outside our lodge but in season parking would be a problem for No 21 which doesn’t seem to have a designated parking space. Only charged WIFI available in the lodge, pity. I would highly recommend Osmington Park, beautiful area and good facilities but Kingfisher 21 at over £200 per night in high season, needs attention. I would have rated 10/10 on everything if the lodge had been up to scratch. I was great value for money to us as we got a fantastic special but at full price it would not have been.

Beautiful lodge in tranquil surroundings, only noise was birdsong, a joy for birdwatching! The lodge was supplied with everything you could need, could not fault it and we plan to return again.

If you take a shower make sure no one puts a tap on. It either comes out scalding hot or freezing cold. Saying that it was nice to have an en-suite in the main bedroom. Nice little touches with tea and coffee to see you though for a couple of days
