Positives: We chose this holiday mainly because the lodge had two double en suite rooms. As they are both identical, there was no awkward moment deciding who had the nicer one. There was a lovely private veranda overlooking woodland. The lodge is in woodland and they are spread out so there is a lot of privacy. The shower was quite powerful. Negative: The beds were very uncomfortable and none of us slept well. There was a hair covered sock in the side of the sofa: as we paid £33 for each of our dogs for a midweek break we would have expected it to have been thoroughly cleaned after each letting. The 'lodge' is quite compact. There is no where to hang towels to dry apart from small radiator in bathroom which cannot be set to come on separately. The hot tub is quite hard to access and exit due to a bad design in the internal steps.
