Visited Cresswell Towers on the week on the 28th October. The caravan itself was ok. However, the Lino in the kitchen was ripped in places. The mattress on the double bed was a small double and didn’t fit. No fitted sheets, just single sheets trying to fit a small mattress on a double bed frame! There were a lot of bugs under the bed. Heating worked great, but it was very muddy and pathways hadn’t been cleaned. The clubhouse.....on the Monday we arrived they only had three out of twelve beers/ciders/ales available. There were three packets of crisps available behind the bar. By Wednesday we had to choose four things off the menu before we found an item which was available to eat. There was nothing left available in draft, no wine, no crisps. The bar tender explained they had not planned for the half term break. Very poor service and planning for what clearly was going to be busy with the schools being off. Outside the holiday park, Cresswell beach is beautiful. As is the Drift cafe a short 20 minute walk. Scones to die for. We also had a trip to warkworth. Unfortunately I wouldn’t return. Worst parkdean resort I’ve been to yet. We actually left the holiday early.

Arrived at caravan park, up to eye balls in mud as no paving between vans, small caravan very close to others which noise from next caravan kept us awake all night as guests in other van talked until 7am! Fabilities tiny, shop had no stock on shelves! We left on the Wed two days early

Site is in a lovely position. Staff were helpful. Shop always looked closed, it's so small and dark. Great value for money.

Shocked to find our caravan was in the middle of a little muddy field but after a quick scout round we found a way to get in without getting muddy. Really think caravans should have parking and clean, dry access - particularly for dog owners. We always bring the hoover, watering can to clean the dog etc as we can't abide living in a 'doggy' caravan!! However the close proximity to the fabulous beach more than made up for any initial misgivings. The caravan was clean, warm and cosy ( maybe a little less shake and vac) but some of the surrounding caravans were really old and scruffy looking. We didn't use any of the on site activities - we would have used the bar for a quick drink on the way back from the beach but dogs aren't allowed and it was too cold to sit outside. Maybe a designated area for dog owners ( there were a lot of us) would be nice.

Caravan was very dirty cobwebs everywhere mould growing in the corners in bedrooms and in the shower dirty dishes bin had food left in! Also the parking not ideal having to park so far away from caravan especially in the mud when trying to carry everything

Can’t help the weather but it rained for whole weekend only access to caravan was through mud/boggy grass. No path to caravan. Had a dog and put in a old dirty cold caravan

Went for 4 day break, left after 2nd night, noisy neighbours. Site was also flooded and no parking close to caravan. Amenities very expensive. Staff however were helpful in entertainment area.

Fantastic location, helpful and friendly staff, good quality food and entertainment for a smallish site. Caravans quite close to each other - It was quiet when we were there but I expect it gets a very ‘noisy’ when busy. Caravan spotless and in good order and the power shower was a pleasant surprise!

This park is small so for us was great as there was no long walks to get to the entertainment complex. Everything was in the one building so again was great. The entertainment was good. The beach was a 5mins walk and was so clean and great for long walks. The food quality was better than alot of parks we have stayed at over the years so i was impressed. Overall was great so i would definitely go again.

The only negative was that someone either had a blown exhaust or was a Sports exhaust but was noisy & made several trips when kids are trying to sleep.
