Nice lodge in a beautiful setting. Nice spacious hot tub, with separate towels for it. Be prepared to buy logs as really only a few sticks provided. Had most of facilities you need but no hairdryer.

The lodge was lovely and immaculate inside, the sofa however was incredibly uncomfortable and is actually very hard to sit on and relax. In terms of value for money, I think it is quite over priced but we did have a nice time.

Lodge well worth cost. Comfortable and well stocked. Arrival pack in fridge brill. Only moan, no top cupboards. Had to bend down for plates and cups, not so good when age means we creak a bit. Dorset well worth the visit. Much to see, best day out was Abbotsbury swanery and village.

Cleanliness was spoiled by loads of cobwebs. Cabin was well equipped, had to request a hairdryer be nice if this was mentioned in the welcome pack as spent ages looking for it. Great little touches like the fire pack and breakfast.

Wouldn't hesitate to book these lodges again for comfort and surroundings! Great place to be able to bring our dog as lots of local walks etc. My one and only criticism would be that having an older dog it would have been nice if we could have left her in the lodge for a couple of hours, or otherwise just provide a doggy daycare at the camp. It wasn't always suitable to take the dog everywhere with us especially in hotter weather.

We had a lovely time at Burnbake forest. The lodge was great and clean and tidy. The hot tub was also lovely after a day exploring. We were in a dog friendly lodge, the only negative was that there wasn’t a gate on the decking so we had to use the outdoor furniture to stop our dog roaming. I would book again.

Forest Lodge 2 was very roomy, especially for two of us. It was comfortable, fairly well equipped and had towels (extra for the hot tub), bathrobes and slippers. Screening provided reasonable seclusion for the outside seating and hot tub area.

Places of interest and road trips were our best part of this holiday the site was to far out and roads leading to and up to the site were unpleasant to use.
