We had a nice time, think the only thing that let it down was the dinner tables were not cleared and left for ages only ate here once during our stay due to this. The food was pretty good. Lots of rubbish left on the floor.

There is plenty to do at the site for all the family. So many actitivites to choose from, with a comprehensive programme, all day, everyday.

Very very chaotic site ..no organisation I most areas and you have to queue for everything apart from in the shop. I had to wait at least 15min to book any activity and majority of these were booked out for the week. The queue to order food or just a drink was horrendous and most of the time again took 15 to 20 mins. The pool was filthy and the outdoor pool was closed. The crazy golf is £2.50 each ..they only had 2 balls and 2 clubs for 7 of us but we still had to pay £17.50 no score cards either ..right rip off. The caravan was ok but smelt of wet dog. I understand we went in high season but they need more staff and better organisation

We took our grand-daughters aged 4 and 6 to stay from Monday to Friday. Checking in was straightforward and we were able to upgrade our caravan from our original booking. On entering our caravan for the first time we became aware that there was no hot water, which was reported to the reception staff and within 10 minutes a member of staff had attended and resolved the problem with the boiler- all the time he was being talked to by the girls and he was talking to them. The girls enjoyed the play areas and swimming pool inside (we did not try the outdoor pool). We visited the restaurant for our evening meals and usually had to wait a little over half an hour, during which time the girls became a little impatient - we did not use the restaurant on the Tuesday as they were having problems with a 'gas appliance' and the wait would have been quite a bit longer. The staff informed us of this problem when we tried to order so we went to the onsite fish and chip shop were the service and quality of the takeaway was very good. The caravan was clean and tidy when we entered it and the site grounds were kept clean and tidy. The girls enjoyed the face painting in the evening entertainment area, which was very high quality work. All the staff we had occasion to speak with were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this site to anyone seeking a short break

We have stayed at many Haven sites. The caravan here was by far the worst. The living room area didn't have enough windows and felt like we were stuck inside a box. Not a nice place to spend any time and we were very disappointed. My daughter really wanted to do the aerial adventure but when we tried to book early Saturday morning we were told it was fully booked until the following Tuesday. We were leaving by then. The queue for food and drink was incredibly slow. In the beach cafe one staff member stuck his thumb into the (someone else) ice cream whilst serving. The hot food we ordered was served luke warm. Overall not a holiday a camp we would visit again.

Good location near Windermere lake.. it’s good base to explore the lakes.. it was raining and windy during my visit so we haven’t made good use of the facilities and entertainment at the park but they seemed good. The prestige caravan is really good. I would visit again

It was our first time going to this site. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much for them at all. Beautiful surrounding. Our son loved the entertainment team so much as they put on a number of in house shows which were enjoyed by adults as well as children. Mark had an excellent way with the kids as did all the entertainment staff! Keep up with the good work! We took our guide dog with us as my husband is totally blind. There was a water log at the bottom of the steps so I asked for the staff to put something down which they did. However, there were some splitters noted and I asked the staff to put something else there to cover up the splitters to prevent an accident for the dog. If the dog is injured on her paw, she could be out of action for 3 weeks - the staff dealt with it immediately.

With bad wheather nothing to do, much too small pools. Dogs allowed in park but nowhere aloud in site , not even a small part of the bar. A lot off activities outside but everything for additional payments. Therefore is the price per night very very much overrated. Never again, no recommendations ever.

We were disappointed with tennis courts as both were damaged and not useable. Think the price of hiring boats was v high for just 30 mins. And it would have been nice to have a bench or picnic table outside caravan.

The park was fine the caravan would have been better as a 2 bedroom as the bedrooms shower and toilet were exceptionally small and it was designed for 8 people as there was a bed pull out in the lounge ONE toilet for 8 !!!!!!! Also overpriced we stayed in a two bedroom lodge in Stratford on Avon two weeks earlier for £400 .
