Nothing “platinum” or “VIP” about this stay. Had to purchase extra toilet roll, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher tablet. No emails said I’d have to pay for these as extra, and we were not expected to, as was advertised as VIP. No robes for the hot tub as pictured also, unfair as false advertising really. Had to leave night before check out in an emergency. Tried the out of hours phone number 7 times - no answer every time. So left a message, and had to post the key through the letterbox of reception with a note. No follow up phone call after this. Paid for early check in, arrived at lodge to 2 men in the lodge. To be fair they left almost immediately, but still shouldn’t have happened. Staff member just walked onto lodge looked in at us all having breakfast, ignored us and proceeded to check the hot tub. Again, nice to see the staff checking the hot tub, but could have knocked and explained. Was a bit bizarre, especially as our window was open. Even a hello would have been better than ignorance. Have stayed in much nicer lodges with better facilities.

We had a lovely ling weekend at Brokerswood. It was a quiet and set in beautiful woodland. My daughter love the play area and we saw deer in the park. Great location for Bath, Salisbury and Longleat.

Excellent holiday, helpful staff, looked like a nearly new cabin, sadly let down by by accumulated dirt and mould in places, but we would stay here again.

Very nice lodge to stay in, staff friendly and helpful. Not a very big place though so doesn't have a lot of facilities e.g. Shop, swimming pool, place to eat. The reception area sells a few small items which you need for the stay. It did offer some activities for guests at extra cost and it has a free wooden play park for kids. It's in the middle of nowhere which is great for peace and quiet and the woods offer a nice walk

This was a perfect 4 nights away during the school half term. For the price and cleanliness of the lodge this couldn't have been beaten for what we required. We did not use any onsite facilities, but just used it as a place to relax and a base for Longleat Safari park and a short visit to Stonehenge.

A last minute holiday booking, we had a reasonably priced stay for 4 nights. Our lodge was clean, tidy and well equipped. 2 bedrooms, 1 ensuite a family bathroom and lounge/kitchen/dining room. Quiet location for our caravan and parking right outside. Small shop on site for essentials. Play area on site was aimed at older children, our 3 year old couldn't go on many things. Beautiful lake, and woodland walks which we went on most days. Longleat safari park was about 15 minuets drive away so a good location, easy to get to local towns but felt quiet on site.
