The holiday park was good however the caravan is in need of maintenance

The caravan was filthy. Although kitchen and shower room was clean the seating area was full of crisps and biscuit crumbs under all the cushions. The lighting was so poor we had to read with torchlight as well. Curtains covered in black mould spots.

The van was brilliant especially for the dog. The entertainment was okay. The restaurant food was good although the chippy on sunday night was bad. The surrounding areas was okay although the ferry wasnt going so couldn't go to sandbanks

We have been to Sandford for about 10 years and always enjoy our stay there

We were disappointed to be allocated a studland caravan where dogs had been housed previously. The sofa's smelt heavily of dogs which is not surprising as they probably slept on them. It is not acceptable to allocate a caravan without first asking a preference. If pets are encouraged then there must be specific caravans allocated accordingly.

Our children 5 and 3 had a brilliant time at the caravan park. They loved all the activities , a lot that was no extra charge. Many activities to fill their time, never bored . Food in restaurant disappointing and took a long time to reach us . We were able to change our caravan , when we realised it was on a busy bend, and was near a road . The new one was not cleaned thoroughly but was sorted out by helpful friendly staff very quickly . Was in a nice quiet spot , under fir trees. Mix up with the go carts and children were very disappointed , however we went back ,staff member made two little boys extremely happy by giving us a cart that was brought back, and considering giving up their time for this little boy. Just to point one safety issue out regarding soft play. There should in my opinion be age limits or / and staff supervision / cameras , parent supervision. Older children could get a bit boisterous . Because any problems were sorted in such a friendly and efficient manner and there were so much to do and the children enjoyed it so much . Because we enjoyed the shows in the evening , and the lovely wooded caravan site and waking up to birds and wild animals , we would certainly book another holiday here . Made great memories .

Park needs updating looking very tired, even the caravan needed an update, also was cleaned that well. Its not that easy to find. Had to queue for sometime to get a meal not ideal. I liked the surroundings of the park lots of nice trees. Staff ok not much else I can say except I wouldn't go back there.
