Arrived on the 1st July for a week. The Lodge we stayed in was lovely, nice and clean, location of the lodge was perfect. The park was clean also. The only fault was the kitchen service, it was very poor/slow, i ordered a breakfast and it took over 45mins to receive it, and when I did it was cold! It seems like they cannot cope when a few orders come through at the same time. Also the site has a shop which closes at around 5-5:30 in the week. I think it should stay open a bit longer as the nearest shop is about 10min drive. Apart from that I would return to this park.

Lovely holiday park with lots to keep our children ages 2 and 8 occupied. Nice area for dogs although this could be worked upon further. We had a basic caravan as we took our dog. Cleanliness was ok, nothing a little sprucing up couldn’t sort. Caravan itself was in need of updating (rust on radiators, broken sink basin) however we didn’t have very high hopes as this was the first time taking our dog to a caravan park.

Lots of activities to do, especially for young children. We did have some issues with the outside restaurant area not being cleared and littered with scraps of food that no one really seemed to deal with until it was brought to their attention. Caravan was pleasant although basic. Great base to explore the local area.

We loved the holiday but were disappointed with the caravan. Having stayed at many bronze rated caravans this was by far the smallest. Such a shame and the beer was highly priced. The staff were extremely helpful with everything 10 out of 10

The park is great for families. Staff are not helpful and we had to ask a few times as bathroom light was not working.

We stayed for 7 nights and whilst it was a lovely site. It was let down by the poor state of the caravan. We did complain about it to the cleaning staff and they were very helpful in trying to sort the issues. There was an important issue that We raised with them concerning cross contamination due to their lack of proper cleaning. We ate twice at the site but found the Food was very disappointing.Unfortunatly we don’t feel confident that we would book to stay there again .

Having stayed in this holiday park on previous occasions ,very disappointed this time. The caravan we had was dirty and smelt very “ doggy “.Obviously,we are aware that bringing the dog meant we would get a less then wonderful caravan ,the one we were allocated was poor . Really surprised there was no garden chairs ,but the limited space around the caravan probably made this basic amenity superfluous. If your using the vouchers for cheap holiday available from newspapers, you may not feel shortchanged by substandard everything, but if not ,you ,like us very probably will.

Although the Silver caravan we were given made me feel like a poor relative (too small, tiny washroom and no room either side of double bed to enable one to get into bed with ease) the site was very good, with good dog walk facilities and excellent catering. We truly felt relaxed after our four days at the centre. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. If we go again perhaps we can try an upgrade that will still accommodate our small, very well behaved, dog.

Fantastic caravan. Fantastic site and staff will definitely go back and was such a lovely holiday. One and only complaint is we hired a travel cot and although it advised we needed to take own bedding for this we was not told we also needed to supply a mattress the travel cot.
