Unable to attend any of the events as there was no room/no tables available. Extra activities- it was a shame we had to pay extra cost.

Caravan was dusty and dirty, we were plagued with ants crawling all over the counters in the kitchen and on the floor. The bathroom door kept getting stuck. There wasn’t enough toilet paper. On arrival there was only part used rolls available. Other guests were noisy walking to and from the swimming pool etc. Some nights some of the guests and children were very loud. People recycling their glass in the bins at 10.30 at night. We felt that we were in the middle of the thorough fare. We only used the swimming pool once it was over crowded and people were fighting for chairs and sun beds. Didn’t get much sleep as just had the late comers were getting into bed the early beds were getting up. Sorry my rating is bad but this is an honest review.

Whilst this was a self catering holiday, there was always something we forget to pack. However, even basic items are expensive at this holiday park. All activities apart from both pools, have an additional cost. This can become extremely expensive if you have more than 1 child! The bar area of a night was always full and waiting times to be served were long. The caravan we stayed in was clean but basic. Too many noisy neighbours. Area was gorgeous, would visit again but stay somewhere else

Accommodation was quite a poor standard in comparison to other holidays we've had. The camp facilities were good but the location of the camp was quite far from the coast. Nothing within walking distance. Used the car all week to trip around the area. Overall I'd rate Sandford a 7/10.

We like this park but restaurant menu and staffing is very poor, we usually self cater most of the time but on my daughter's birthday grandparents wanted to buy us a meal. Sunday no staff to take orders at table went to bar to place food order and none of the food we wanted to order was available (roast dinner, steak, lasagne) we ended up queuing for half an hour for fish and chips and taking them back to the van. We cooked our own meals the rest of the holiday. The water activities were good but for over 8 year olds they were advertised to be in the outdoor pool where there is more space but all were in small chlorine chlostraphoebic tiny indoor pool. The Nisa shop onsite could stock more fresh food rather than concentration on expensive toys and sweets. Our van was very modern and provided everything we needed to self cater. We had a good holiday and would stay again.

Nice site, Caravan was lovely (apart from a damp wardrobe which we didn't discover until the last day), quiet location, handy for Poole and Swannage

We stayed in the sturminster caravan and it wasn't clean on arrival, marks on the bathroom wall, on the living room floor dirt, marks. Cracked tap in the shower. Most holiday parks provide a sponge, bin liner etc but nothing which was a pain after the journey there. Shop expensive on site. The swimming pools the kids loved and the arcade.

Park and caravan nice. The caravan could have been cleaner upon arrival. The bin was dirty, the floor was dirty. There was spilt icecream in the freezer. I have stayed I much cleaner caravans at other parks. The park was lovely and all the staff were fantastic. The entertainment team worked very hard to ensure people had a good time. The evening entertainment was very focused on children and I would have liked to see more for the adults. Advertising what entertainment you had on and when was very poor. We didn't know what was on each night until we walked in the club. I missed the pool party on Wednesday as we never knew anything about it . The park was kept very clean and tidy which was nice.

overall the facilities and staff were very good with one exception, the restaurant experience. On arriving at the restaurant we placed our order 4 adult and 2 children's meals 1 aged under 2 the other 3,the adult meals arrived fairly promptly were were advised we would have to collect the meals for the children in about 5 mins. pointing out to us where to collect them. The childrens mother left her meal and went to collect the meals and was told she would have to wait a further 5 minutes for the chips15 minutes later she was still waiting along with several other frustrated people when the meals finally arrived after a wait of 35 minutes we had all finished our meals by by this now with the exception of the mother the children were getting agitated and a evening spoiled.NOT IMPRESSED CLOSE ON 40 MINUTES TO COOK A FEW CHIPS.

A good family park with two good pools, lots of watery activities for those that want them. Evening entertainment for children. We did not use this facility as its like a horrible hot madhouse, but great for those who want it. Close to lots of beautiful areas of natural beauty.

A very enjoyable holiday. Staff were helpful and there was plenty to do on site. The only down side was the accommodation - very dated. Service was slow ordering and getting food.
