Only issue was allergy as pet friendly accommodation. Hadn’t realised how bad it was. Facilities and equipment all good; shower really good

We booked this last minute as we had court order issues with step daughter and being full time carer for my Nan, it looked amazing on the photos but in reality very poor ... Borrowdale bronze chalet was not at all like the pictures!! There was a horrible smell in the chalet, staff said shouldn't be its been used over and over .. there was no bedding in kids rooms had to go and get it and make the beds ourselves with cheap sheets that hardly fit the bed or quilt cover. We bought air freshener and anti bac spray, the kitchen cupboard had a vile smell on taking the plates out there was food stuck between the plates that had gone mouldy ... it was disgusting. Every day we had to try air and spray the chalet, spray the carpet / curtains / settee ... The chalet was very disappointing in whats advertised. The entertainment is clearly for younger children and again facilities on the photos do not reflect real life. We didn’t use any facilities on site, the arcade is small .. parks okay, farm isn’t easily accessible.. very very poor. We will not stay here again.

It was ok, we won't be returning and had it not been for the original discount we may have issued a complaint

The accomodation is not what you see on website, very tired and run down, stained carpets, dirty settes, cigarette burns, springs had gone in settee, table and chairs very marked/ scratched and circle stains to table top. Drain outside was overflowing, cobwebs around light fittings, rubbish strewn all over grass, took 2 days before anyone cleaned it up.

Wouldn’t recommend at all the place is run down and dirty, the furniture in the place you couldn’t sit in it was so hard and dirty the carpets were dirty the bathroom had black all over the tiles it was smelly.....the soft play was rubbish ... one slide that’s it worst we’ve ever been to the entertainment for children was rubbish and the younger children weren’t catered for so of no use to us at all, we left our holiday early due to a problem with the drains and our holiday let smelling of human waste and the toilet overflowing with the same, we were refunded one day from the company but have not received any kind of an apology or email from them ... what a disappointment needless to say we would not return to this park and certainly wouldn’t recommend it!

Overall nice holiday with good basic facilities. We booked on a late deal so got our holiday at a very discounted rate. Even though nice place think I would have been disappointed if I had paid the full price

Loved it, everything we wanted - relaxation for the adults with the hot tub and great entertainment for the kids plus an indoor pool!

The chalet was modern and clean. I didn't like the carpet, I would have preferred hard flooring, especially with the dogs.

Great wee holiday park. Cabin was smaller than the pictures implied. Beds were comfortable, lovely fresh bedding with exception of blanket in wardrobe which was disgusting with old food stains on it. Staff were made aware of this and hopefully they will change before next people arrive. The cabin was dog friendly. We were charged £40 apparently for cleaning. The cabin stank of dog when we arrived. The place appeared clean enough but I think the smell was in the carpets. Surely the extra £40 for cleaning could have covered getting the carpets cleaned. The kids mattresses were too long for the bed and the bed was too long for the room stopping the cupboard from closing. Not great for a 7 year old who's scared of monsters in the dark! Kids had a great time though. Cabin was well equipped. Staff were lovely were and friendly.
